Blog Post: Immortal Cells by Tyrolin Puxty

Thank you to @tyrolinpuxty & @katieandbreypa for the opportunity to read this #eARC in exchange for my #honestreview! This book is out now and available on #kindleunlimited.

After years on the run, Malin is captured and taken to a prison for immortal beings. Her crime? (Formerly) being immortal. As Malin attempts to navigate her new hostile home where breakfast may be a meal or a poison shower, torture is routine, and cannibals run wild, she begins to realize there is something a lot more sinister at play. Will she and her friends make an escape or will she finally meet her doom?

I do not generally reach for fantasy but this premise really drew me in. It’s almost like a twist on the Divergent series meets Lord of the Rings. I was pulled in within the first 25 pages and invested in Malin’s fate. And that cliffhanger at the end!! I sincerely hope this turns into a multi part series and would like to see it adapted to the big screen as well! I highly recommend for those looking for a fast-paced fantasy that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

TW: prisoner abuse, cannibalism, violence
