The K Team is a retired canine Simon Garfunkel, former detective Corey Douglas, Laurie Collins, and Marcus Clark who enjoy solving cold cases for the Paterson Police Department. When Corey’s former mentor shows up connected to the latest case, he can’t pass up an opportunity to clear his former colleague’s name. Will they solve two cases at once or is this case more than they bargained for?
A crime-solving investigator and canine duo? That’s an automatic two paws up premise for us! This was a solid read with a very unpredictable plot twist at the end that I enjoyed. Ultimate antagonist gave off some Bond villain vibes, which I appreciated. I absolutely love these characters and will undoubtedly be back for more of this series. I highly recommend as fast-paced crime-fighting novel!
