Book Review: Paris: The Memoir by Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton is a businesswoman, socialite, singer, actress, model, and author. She is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of the Hilton hotel chain. From her stint on “The Simple Life” with best friend Nicole Richie to her unabashed poses for the paparazzi and busting around the social scene in roller skates during her clubbing days (nights), she crawled her way into our hearts and cemented her place in the socialite spotlight.

Paris is one of those celebrities that I grew up watching on tv and in the media and wanting to emulate. She is a badass and fierce woman who comes across as poised and fearless. I genuinely had no idea about her days I the various programs her parents placed her in to whip her into shape and am honestly horrified on her behalf. I really loved how brutally raw and honest Paris got in this memoir. I always say this on memoirs but I really loved hearing Paris read this in her own tone of voice and adding her own inflection. I highly recommend for those looking for a great celebrity memoir.
